What Do We Do?
Each week we do something a little different!
We do everything from Bible studies to game nights.
There is no set curriculum and each group is based on a talk therapy format.
Lessons are based on biblical principles. We grow through connection with one another and with God as we study scripture.
We encourage our members to step out of their comfort zone and take turns sharing their testimonies, or lead a group on a lesson that God has been walking you through.
We learn from the experiences of others.
About The Leader
Hello! My name is Leah Wolfe. This is a little summary about me and why I wanted to start a recovery group. I struggled with drug addiction for a little over a decade. My struggles caused me to ruin relationships with my family, friends, and God. I lost jobs, money, possessions, and all sense of myself. My addiction led to a life of crime which landed me in jails, and prison for a total of 3 years. It was in those 4 walls I found God again and began a journey of healing and re-learning how to live the right way and become who God called me to be! The more I trust God and live the way I am called to live, the more he restores me. He has healed relationships I never thought could be repaired and blessed me with a family and ways to provide for them. He has restored who I truly am and has blessed me beyond my understanding. I am now on a mission to pass on what I have discovered. That is the freedom I have found from my past through Jesus Christ. All I have done would not be possible without Jesus as well as the healthy relationships I have with my family and new friends I have found in my recovery. I am so grateful to Him for everything and know he wants to share the same freedom with everyone struggling! We can't do it on our own!
~ New Life Recovery has helped me find healing in my brokeness. It has connected me with others in recovery, where I have found support, encouragement, and fellowship. It has helped strengthen my relationship with my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. And because of the help and support from this group and God I am over three years sober. Ashley - Group Member
~New Life Recovery has a laid back and non judgemental atmoshere, where people can share their struggles freely. I have been able to reconcile broken family relationships and continue to grow in my faith. With the genuine love and support from the people in this group and most of all God, I wouldn't be almost three years clean. Lewis - Group Member
